No-Stress Summer Snacks You Don’t Have to Cook

If you're anything like me, the summer heat (and a healing shoulder!) calls for keeping things really simple—especially in the kitchen. I’m all about low-effort, feel-good food this week. These no-cook snack ideas have been on repeat over here, and they’re perfect for lazy afternoons, impromptu backyard hangs, or quick bites in between garden watering and chasing life.

Here are a few of my go-to favorites right now:

Charcuterie Jar
Grab a Mason jar and layer cheese cubes, sliced salami, grapes, and your favorite crackers. Portable, pretty, and absolutely zero fuss.

Greek Yogurt & Berry Parfait
Spoon Greek yogurt into a cup, add a drizzle of honey, and top with berries and granola. Looks fancy. Takes five seconds!

Pretty jars for parfaits or charcuterie!

Avocado Toast Lite
Skip the oven. Just toast your bread, mash avocado with lime juice and sea salt, and top with cherry tomatoes. Done and delicious.

Caprese Skewers
Cherry tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, and mozzarella balls on a toothpick, then drizzled with olive oil. These feel like a little treat from a summer café.

Hummus and chips or veg
Whip up a quick hummus using any beans you have (I like garbanzo or cannellini beans), a touch of tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Quick, easy, and good for you.

Pro Tip:
Prepare a few of these on Sunday so you can grab and go all week long. Add fresh mint or basil from your garden for a special touch. Grab everything you need to make these snacks!
