Homemade Lavender Scrub
Homemade Lavender Scrub
I love making homemade gifts—they always feel a little more personal and thoughtful, don’t they?
This lavender scrub is one of my favorites. It's simple, inexpensive, and makes a sweet little gift for teachers, neighbors, or anyone who could use a little moment of calm.
What You’ll Need: (Makes 4 Small Jars)
2 cups kosher salt (or fine sea salt for a gentler scrub)
1 cup coconut oil, melted and slightly cooled
8–10 drops lavender essential oil (adjust to your scent preference)
2 tablespoons dried lavender buds (optional, but so pretty!)
Grab your printable tags
How To:
In a bowl, mix the salt and dried lavender together.
Add the melted (but not hot) coconut oil and stir to combine.
Add the lavender essential oil and mix again.
Spoon into four 4-oz jars.
Tie on a ribbon, a sprig of dried lavender, or a simple gift tag.
It smells amazing and is perfect to keep near the kitchen sink for a quick hand scrub after cooking.
You can make these with your favorite essential oils! Happy Crafting!
You can grab my favorite JARS if you need some.
Much love,
Susan
