Life Hack- Menu/Meal Planning

I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’m always cooking. The boys are hungry constantly—and if I’m being honest, sometimes I’m just plain worn out by dinnertime. After a full workday, the last thing I want to do is stand in the kitchen wondering what to make.

The truth? On the weeks when I take just a little time to plan our meals, everything feels easier. Less decision fatigue. Fewer last-minute grocery runs. More peace when 5 o’clock rolls around.

I’m not always disciplined about it—some weeks, I still wing it—but when I do plan ahead, it’s a total game changer.

To help you (and me!) make this part of the week simpler, I created a printable Weekly Menu Planner you can grab for free.
It’s simple, pretty, and functional—just how I like it. It even includes spots for notes, errands, and special occasions.

A few of our go-to easy dinners:

  • Sausage & biscuits with a veg (canned biscuits make this super quick, but if you’re feeling ambitious, you can make your own which is usually a weekend activity!)

  • Pasta with chicken and broccoli

  • DIY Bowls—rice or quinoa, your favorite protein, veggies, toppings and a drizzle of dressing or sauce

  • Tacos (always)

  • Breakfast for dinner—like a frittata and salad, or pancakes/Dutch baby with fruit and bacon

Nothing fancy, just real food that feeds real people.

Here’s to making dinner feel a little less like a daily crisis and a little more like a win.

With love,
Susan
